Red Lion E3 I/O modules, by HMS Networks, offer a robust and reliable solution for local and distributed monitoring and control of processes and equipment in harsh industrial environments. Housed in all-metal enclosures, our suite of 17 E3 I/O modules meets a wide range of environmental specifications and holds industry certifications. With up to 34 mixed I/O points, these modules can accommodate various requirements.
The highly rugged E3 I/O modules include discrete, analog, and temperature I/O, dual Ethernet ports, an RS-485 serial port, and one USB port. They can be configured via a web interface or through Red Lion’s award-winning Crimson® 3.0 software, making setup and deployment straightforward. These high-density I/O modules can complement HMIs or function as standalone I/O concentrators. They are suitable for a variety of industries, including oil and gas, water and wastewater, utilities, transportation, mining, and maritime.
Designed to support open-standard protocols, Red Lion’s DIN-rail mountable modules simplify integration into existing or newly installed networks, replacing external devices like switches, data concentrators, and protocol converters. This cost-effective solution streamlines systems and enhances reliability.
Available in both DIN-rail and panel-mount configurations, Red Lion’s E3 I/O modules are designed for durability in harsh environments, with operating temperatures ranging from -40 °C to 75°C and UL Class I, Division 2, Group A, B, C, D listings. Additionally, these modules feature built-in self-resetting fuses, ensuring years of reliable operation in any industrial setting.
