Vacancy: Midlands and South West Sales Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced regional Sales Manager to join our growing team at Distec Ltd.
Overview
The ideal candidate is a motivated and well-organized individual with a deep understanding of prospecting and developing strong customer relationships, particularly within the industrial and medical markets. The candidate must have a strong understanding of Industrial PCs and touchscreen technologies. The successful candidate will work remotely from the office and visit the company’s HQ in Manchester as required (minimum once a month).
Responsibilities
- Manage customer accounts in the UK to drive new business opportunities
- Develop and implement plans to successfully identify appropriate customers and opportunities aligned to the sales strategy, in the UK
- Effectively present and sell the business along with its full range of USPs to maximise every revenue opportunity
- Utilise strategic selling methods to create winning sales strategies to manage and win opportunities
- Commercially manage projects post-sale from beginning to end
- Communicate effectively at all levels, from director to engineer, engaging in both commercial and technical conversation
- Manage, develop,p and build customer relationships and identify their relevant strategic corporate needs, then positioning the business to meet those needs
Qualifications
- 3+ years of sales experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in Touch Technology, Digital Signage, Industrial PCs and Factory Automation would be an advantage
