Product Update: Transition from IntelliTouch (SAW) to TouchPro PCAP Touchscreens
As part of ongoing efforts to bring the latest in touchscreen technology to our customers, we want to share an important update from our technology partner, Elo.
Elo has announced that their IntelliTouch® (SAW) touch monitors and open frame models will be officially discontinued and replaced with the next-generation TouchPro® PCAP models. This transition reflects Elo’s commitment to continuous improvement and innovation, offering users a more advanced touch experience.
Why the Change?
The TouchPro® PCAP technology offers several key advantages over IntelliTouch® SAW:
Improved touch accuracy and responsiveness
Better resistance to dirt, dust, and surface contaminants
Consistent performance without the need for recalibration
While product changes are always approached with care, these updates are part of an effort to ensure you’re equipped with the most current and reliable technology.
Key Dates to Know
Last time buy orders for IntelliTouch® SAW products will be accepted through January 30, 2026.
Last time shipments will be completed by July 31, 2026.
Please note that while Elo aims to offer suitable replacements with equal or improved specifications, some TouchPro® models may differ slightly in terms of electrical or mechanical compatibility. Our team is here to help you assess the best fit for your application.
